"From track one through ten, I was entertained, I felt love and compassion, mixed up with rock and roll. Seriously, how can you go wrong with a combination like that?"

It's incredibly rare for me to like an entire CD from the very first hearing, but this one grabbed me and never let go. I bought some for my closest friends.

It's About Time CD

You tired of paying $18 for 3 songs you like?

Fix that HERE with these new songs

We’ve all been burned by the $18 CD with only a few likable songs. And all the single downloads you can buy will never make up for the thousands you’ve spent buying CDs over the years. Singer/songwriter Bud Buckley is giving you more than your money’s worth here. His new CD, “It’s About Time” will touch your heart or move your groove thing in a variety of tempos and styles no matter what your age. Bud does it here soulfully from blues to ballad to samba to sock ‘em rock.

But he doesn’t stop with just one CD

Bud’s intelligent lyrics have been mistaken as Bob Dylan and Paul Simon and they touch you on a level which John Mayer is known for.

Even though this former elementary school teacher turned troubadour sounds vocally at different times like those three, as well as Mark Knopfler and John Mellencamp, he has a sound all his own that will keep you hitting the repeat button. Early buyers of this CD are wearing it out.

Musically, Buckley keeps fans of Tom Petty, David Gray and Neil Young satisfied. But to say all of the above are his only influences would leave out the influence of his younger fans who were once his students. It would also neglect to mention his studio band of producer Helen Avakian (Walnut Valley Award Winner and exquisite singer/songwriter/guitarist herself), violinist Deni Bonet who is best known for her work with Cyndi Lauper, Sara Mclaghlan, REM and others), Classical composer/guitarist, Terry Champlin, Bassist/pianist/guitarist Scott Petito (The Fugs, The Band, Rory Block, James and Livingston Taylor, Mark Knopfler, Keith Richards, Allan Ginsburg, Happy & Artie Traum, The Dolphins, Bela Fleck, Howard Levy, Tom Paxton, Michael Franks, Stevie Wonder, John Sebastian) and background vocalist Beth Reineke (Rick Danko, Steinar Albrigtsen & Tom Pacheco, Kate McDonnell,Tom Pacheco, The Fugs, Pete Seeger, Billy Bragg, Ani DiFranco & Steve Earle, Nancy Walker, Ben Murray & Siobhan Quinn, Michael Franks, Robbie Dupree)

This critically acclaimed CD is very tightly produced , recorded in Petito’s NRS Studios near Woodstock, NY, and he has made sure that every note of every instrument and voice is crystal clear. Not a muddy wall of sound but a hologram of sound where each musician stands out with depth and clarity in their proper places.

So how do they sound? Glad You asked!
